Fun animation which needs little improvements

While I'm not a Naruto fan, I must say that I did enjoy the animations. Most of the time the animation was smooth and pleseant to watch. Even knowing little of the characters from the anime, I thought the story was interesting and fun.

There are a few nagging flaws which prevent me from giving it a really high score, however.

Suggested areas of Improvement:

*Smoother animation
-A few times the animation would hang up and then jump to catch up with itself. This is probably due to how you made the animation play in layers and movie clips, which is an easy fix.

*Clearer sound
-The audio, especially the voices, sounded as though someone were talking underneath a pillow or a few blankets. This is also an easy fix for future animations.

Overall, I thought it was good

Needs work

I can see where you're going with this, but at this time, I can't really recommend this submission to anyone.

Areas for improvement:
* Better standing sprites for characters
-Use more appropriate stills for the characters who are standing. If you're going for a look of movement in the breeze, make a movie clip of the character's clothing blowing int he wind instead of just one still of the animation.

*Better fonts and colors
-If it's annoying or hard to read, the viewer is going to lose interest very quickly.

*Check spelling
-If you don't use voice actors, then make sure your spelling is correct.

*Quicker Pace
-Either pick up the pace or make the animation stop with each text box and allow the viewer to either press a button or the space bar to advance the text.

*Higher quality sprites
-Try to make your sprites the same size and at least attempt to make them match in styling.
-Double check to see your backgrounds and characters aren't blurry or grainy.

With a little work, this will be an interesting series. If you would like assistance, many would be willing to help. I can see what you're going for, so don't give up.

HAAHAHAH WTF? Addicting!

Wow...I didn't know what to think at first, and then I just kind of got into it! Damn thing gets addicting and almost forces you to watch. 4/8 from me.

Not the best, but very good

It was definitely better than I was expecting. The pause is a bit long, even for the effect the author was going for.

As for the Fatalities debate in MK vs DC: Ed Boon and staff have already confirmed there WILL be fatalities in the game. Certain characters, like Superman, who wouldn't just haul off and take a life won't have the classic fatalities. Instead, the hero characters will have finishing moves better fit for their style. Ed Boon stated such moves haven't been finalized in their name, but to expect something like "Brutalities".

If Aquaman makes it into the game, I will have so much fun killing that guy, I may just keep hitting "Continue" on the second controller just so I can do it repeatedly.

Well, I admit that I laughed

It could use some work, and I feel it belongs on some place like YouTube or Ebaum's World more than NewGrounds, but it got a laugh from me.

A few things that I found issue with, however, where that some of the background sounds didn't fit very well, especially the "cha-ching" noises.

Overall, it was a rather decent submission, even if it should go some place other than NewGrounds.

MindChamber responds:

Thats where I originally posted it. I didnt think a simple gag would warrant posting it on ng.

but Both TomFulp, Luis and a few others stated that they thought it was funny and shouldve been uploaded to NG.

if TomFulp suggesting I should've uploaded it on NG doesn't qualify it as NG material I dont know what does.

Really needs work, with potential to be fun

The sprites used really need to be fixed. They're extremely blurry, filtered oddly, and jump around during their animations.

Tip: Each sprite has an "anchor point", that will always stay the same regardless of what the animation is for. Find that, and the characters will be smoother. Also, use transparent sprite sheets and break them instead of having Flash trace them.

The audio isn't all around bad. The music is fun and catchy, but it's generally too loud and muffles all other sound effects, including the voices.

Worst part of it is the positioning of the background. Everything needs to be resized, and in a bad way. The backgrounds and scenes are placed in awkward positions, showing things that weren't supposed to be seen, such as characters suddenly appearing at the edges and walking in. Oh, and the grammar needs some improving. Really, it's not difficult to make sure things are capitalized when needed and the like.

With some quick fixes, this animation has the potential to be fun. As it is now, I can't really recommend it. I can tell a lot of work went into this, and the problems are really more "quick fixes" than anything.

Hopefully in Episode 3 these issues will be addressed and the author will show us all just how great the series will continue to be.

Interesting, and then Hell breaks out

It wasn't bad. The animation styling and feel at the beginning was great. Then the ending...nice little shocker, there. All in all the animation was good.

Thank you very much.

Superb ending to the series

I must say, that the animation in this episode far outclasses the previous two the author has submitted. The fighting was more fluid, the sound was much more in sync with the voice files, and the overall sound was a much higher quality than before.

The story also came to a welcome conclusion with a nice little twist that isn't over the top nor is it lacking. The moral of this fable also rings clear and is a welcome change from many of the more recent animations submitted by artists.

I look forward to more from the author.

Even better than the first episode

Art styling and animation styling fits into the feel and setting this movie is portraying. SThere seems to be small syncing issues. Instead of putting the sound effects in with the movie clips you've placed on the time line, place the sound effects in the main time line.

There's nothing really negative to say here.

This is a SPOOF not a Parody

The artwork was clean and entertaining. There were even several instances where the artist put their own touch on the characters. I was really hoping that the "spin around the characters" section would have been done better, but it was still rather well done.

Not much else I can say about the animation as it speaks for itself.
