Very cool

I always love learning more about an animation and the characters. Too bad you couldn't include it in the main animation because of the file size. Didn't realize Toma was 16.

I'm really looking forward to episode 2.

Breath taking

The atmosphere was perfect for the play and the animation styling was just magnificent.

The audio was spot on as well, never too loud, never too quiet. The music gave the video a perfect pacing.

I thought I was impressed watching it here on NG until I saw how it was presented to the audience on your user page...My god...that's incredible.

TheBoogley responds:

Did you just call me your god? I'm pretty sure you did. You were all like, "I saw how it was presented to the audience on your user page, My god."
And so it was written, that therefore I am now your god... :3

Extremely impressed

Wow, I'm really impressed. The art style was pretty bad ass, too, and fit perfectly with the overall feel. It's cool to have seen it changed from your rough preview.

I will get those other lines done, I just haven't been happy with my delivery on them yet. Don't worry, they are coming.

Oh, the only thing is that in the credits it has me listed as "sensei sunrise". I guess I should have told you to credit me as Sunrie *L

Excellent! As great as I expected!

Wow, this was worth the wait! Everyone, I just want to say, I am very happy and honored to have been part of this collab with all the talent present. Thank you for making my first collab experience extremely enjoyable and something I am proud to have been a part of!

I definitely have a feeling we'll be making another one, am I right, or am I REALLY right? *L*

Damn straight!

The animation was actually pretty good for such simplicity used.

Another great episode, if not very short

I was hoping for a much longer episode this time around, but that's okay. The bonus scene was hilarious as always and I enjoyed the references to the original translation.

A spot here or there was a little off with the sprite positioning (nudged a bit, not really bouncing), but that's easy to over look.

Great custom sprites! They fit in really well and you can tell a lot of work went into the episode as a whole.

Finally, I really enjoyed the ending sequence. It's more obscure than the last credit roll based off of Paranoia Agent, but it's unmistakable when you know what it is.

Here's hoping the next one will come soon. If you would like any voice work or anything else, let Wyldfire1 and I know. We'd both be extremely happy to participate in anyway possible.

Clovis15 responds:

I really wish I could lock down on the nudging, as I am terrribly aware of its constant presence, but Flash continues to give me the finger on this. Maybe it's a Flash 6 thing, I will be making the next episode of CTU with Flash 8; man, believe you me, there are some bugs from Flash 6 that I am never going to miss once I complete that upgrade.

Thank you for saying the Iria credits are unmistakable, it lets me know my many hours of maddening work were not all for naught.

Don't worry, I'll be sure to consider you two if I have voicing problems.

Very well done

This is far above and beyond your previous work. You're getting better every time.

The emotion caught in the story and portrayed by the actors is a breath of fresh air from many other Flash movies. I am looking forward to seeing the third installment.

And, yeah, pissing of Shadow is NEVER a good idea

Needs more editing...

This could be a reasonably well made flash if some obvious and nagging issues are addressed.

The biggest problem with the Flash is that your sprites bounce around. You CANNOT just drag sprites over each other and expect it to look right! There is a place on ALL sprites which will always remain the same, allowing you animate any number of poses or movements from.

Because you didn't take the time to animate the sprites correctly, you get this bouncing mess of things which completely detracts from any kind of entertainment and screams "NOOB!!!!" You never want this.

It takes another five seconds when doing an animation to zoom in to 2000% and line up your sprites correctly using onion skinning. You're not the only person to not pay attention enough, even some of the Phoenix Wrong animations suffer from this and they are scored rather well.

Learn to correct these problems in the future and your animations will not only score better, but you'll be able to produce better quality work

acerookie1 responds:

thanks i respect that.

Epic wins all the way around

People, stop saying "Sonya can't freeze" and stupid things like that.

The Exiles are DIFFERENT VERSIONS of familiar characters! It's based off of the Marvel Comics "Exiles" mythos!!!!!

With that being said, I cannot believe the amount of epic in this animation. The fight scene was flawless, fast pace, and never disappointed.

The hand drawn scenes were very welcome and added a new spin on the sprite genre.

Also, your little twist at the end actually caught me off guard. I loved this and faved it.

Needs quite a bit to fix...

Your sprites are anchored wrong, causing them to move incorrectly and bounce.

In addition, the sound is out of sync with the action. Don't place the audio in a symbol, this causes a lag. Place it on the main timeline on it's own layer.

I can see where you're trying to go, but please put more effort and attention into something for a preview. This is not a dumping ground for animation tests, it's a place for people to put their completed work or completed previews.

You can see if your animation works just by pressing crtl+enter in Flash. No need to upload it here.
