[Aerith (Deuce re-mix)]

Plain and boring

It's missing a lot of zazz and has quite a few out of key notes. Many of the instruments are drowning each other out as well.

In addition, it all sounds very tinny and fake. Needs some work overall, but the talent is there.

Very good, even if it needs work

Has a good beat and the bass is popping. There are a few things that should be changed here or there to make it really stand out, but as it is, this is very good.

Too gritty

While I know what the artist was going for, it's just too gritty and uneven. Could use some work to turn into something really worth while, but as it is, I have to pass.

It's a little boring, and could use some things here or there to spice it up. Like I said, it's not bad, it's just plain.

Needs some rebalancing is all

The only flaw in this is the EQ. Other than that, this is very punchy and fun. Would be great in any animation once the EQ issues are fixed.

Messy

It's just too garbled together. Really needs some work, and the samples aren't very good, either. Once everything quiets down and there's only a few things going, you can see the potential.

You're absolutely right. Unfortunately, I don't have the original files anymore, so I can't change anything. I really posted this mainly because I loved how experimental it was, and just how plain weird it is, and try to have the music that I submit here be as varied as possible.

Too jumbled

There's potential, but no real greatness, sadly. Seems like a jumble of instruments trying to stand out, but because of it, nothing does. Needs work, but can be something good with enough time.

Remix done right!

It's a little too much reverb in a few places, but overall, this is how you do a remix right.

It's very punchy, and that's a good thing.

Just too sketchy

It needs work. There's talent there, but it seems to be buried still. Too repetitious, but a good underlying tone.

Interesting, but not excellent

It's a little repetitious, but pleasant. Interesting concept that should be further built upon. From 1:00 to 1:18 definitely has that RPG feel more so than the rest of the song.

With most of my projects I tend to go to far I think. I actually tried to leave it under 2 minutes so it could loop like any SNES RPG would.
